The Value Stream

From raw sheet to finished assembly — filmed on our own floor.

Thirteen stages, all in-house. This is not a stock-photo tour: every clip below is our own plant, our own machines and our own people. What we cannot show you is the part being made — that belongs to the customer.

Why it matters

Every hand-off is a chance to lose quality. So we removed them.

Most fabricators subcontract coating, machining or welding. Every time a part leaves the building it picks up lead time, handling damage, a quality gap — and one more organisation that has seen your drawing. Glastronix runs all thirteen stages under one roof.

CNC fiber laser profiling for clean edges and tight contours. This is the datum every downstream stage inherits, so it is cut to the drawing, not to a tolerance guess.

Press-Brake Forming

CNC bending with angle correction. On a multi-bend part, form accuracy is what decides whether the assembly fits — so this stage is controlled, not eyeballed.

Fastener Insertion

Self-clinching hardware — studs, standoffs and nuts — pressed into the sheet so the finished panel arrives ready to assemble, with no loose parts to lose.

Milling and turning for close-tolerance features and machined components that sheet-metal processes alone cannot hold.
